An intranet the employees made their own
How Porsche Slovenija worked with BizIT to rebuild its intranet on SharePoint Online - enabling faster internal communication, easier content management and better employee collaboration.

Challenge
Porsche Slovenija recognised the need to modernise its intranet with newer technology. The previous solution created several content-management challenges: limited options for editing and publishing content, no differentiated user roles, and no ability to like or comment on news - all of which made effective communication and employee collaboration more difficult.
The aim of the project was to move to SharePoint Online, giving employees a more modern user experience and editors more efficient content management.
Solution
We carried out a complete migration of existing content to SharePoint Online and built a modern intranet portal:
- Central management of news and announcements - creating posts for all employees with automatic notifications about news and newly published documents.
- Document and image-gallery management - with version control, permissions and automated workflows for structured document management.
- Interactivity - likes, comments and polls, plus Viva Connect for internal employee collaboration.
Added value - the Vozni park application: as part of the project, we also built a Power Apps application for booking test vehicles for journalists and other interested parties. It includes a clear vehicle-availability calendar, and once a booking is confirmed the vehicle rental agreement is automatically populated - significantly speeding up fleet management.

- A better user experience for employees and more efficient work for editors.
- Higher intranet usage - resulting in a better-informed team about company events and news.
- A faster vehicle-booking process with automatic contract preparation.
