For all those who want to get to know the Power platform better and independently automate simple business processes.

Then Power Academy I is the right course for you.

In Power Academy I, we get to know thes Power platform, its tools, and the process of creating  an application.


This is followed by guided preparation of an application solution. We will take a look at the SharePoint database, preparing lists and templates, learn how to create a Power App application from a template and how to automate simple processes, such as automatic notification. We will conclude with a simple demonstration of analytics for easier future business decision-making.

COURSE OF POWER ACADEMY I

1. day (6 hours):

  • Introduction to the Power platform and the application creation process
  • SharePoint as a database, preparation of lists and ciphers
  • Creating an application for user view (Power Apps, user interface, functionalities, ...)
  • Application testing

Goal: Familiarization with the Power platform and preparation of an application for the end-user.

2. day (6 hours):

  • Creating an application for the administrator view (project gallery, opening tickets, adding to Teams)
  • Application testing
  • Notification automation (Power Automate - types of flows and connectors, notifications to the administrator and user upon status change)

Goal: Preparing a second view of the application - administrator view and learning about simple forms of automation with Power Automate.

3. day (6 hours):

  • Processing and exporting records from SharePoint to Excel
  • Demonstration of connection with Power BI and adding analytics to Teams
  • Independent task

Goal: Familiarization with the Power platform and preparation of an application for the end-user.

GOAL:

The goal of each part is a completed project, and at the end of Academy I a fully developed application solution. Through the process steps of creating an application, we get to know Power tools for basic independent use.


After the academy, the basic concepts of the application creation process will be clear to us, we will also understand the importance of drawing and user experience and the basic functionalities of Power tools for creating canvas applications.


The result of the first part of the academy is a mini business application made from a template, which is tied to automatic user notification.
